Nestor originates from Greek mythology who is the king of Pilos Kingdom. He is a brave and sagacious king. It was saying that Nestor joined in the historic war of Troy although his age was over one hundred. He gave advice to the young warriors and regulate conflicts among warriors. After the success of the war, he rejected to plunder the Troy city and went back to the Pilos city.  He is well-received and respected by people for his wisdom.


Afterwards, “Nestor”gradually became the meaning of “wise elder” and pass down to now. His leadership and image stands for the outstanding person in one industry. We named the brand with NESTOR is because he hopes the brand image is like Nestor which is professional and creative and bring the high quality and tasty food to consumers.

With maturity of innovation and expanding for business, Nestor opened the overseas market beyond domestic and North America. In the meanwhile, Nestor also expanded category to dried cranberry, raisin and prunes product lines. With the establishment of series of dried fruit product lines, Nestor became one of the most complete brands for dried fruit in the world.
Nestor was founded in State of Oregon in USA in 2012. At the beginning of foundation, Nestor achieved strategic cooperation with the biggest farm for blueberry and cherry and set up the supply chain mainly for blueberry and cherry in the early phase.
So far, Nestor keep on sourcing the best material worldwide, from the best farms and factories in USA and all over the world, which guarantee the high quality from the source . At the mean time, Nestor’s cooperative factories are all over the world, which have advanced equipment and professional staff, international health standard plant, control strictly in every production line. After the picking of raw materials, they were directly put into processing, production and packaging, to reduce other unnecessary costs of  manufacturing process.
In 2017, Nestor accomplished the research and development for non-additive prunes and became the first brand without preservatives and with the longest shelf life in USA. Nestor prunes also became the most competitive star product in the series products of brand.​
